Welcome, visitors! I am opening a private piano studio after retiring from New Mexico State University, where for 25 years I served as Piano Area Coordinator. My students have won competitions in New Mexico and Texas, and many have gone on to earn master’s and doctoral degrees at such institutions as UT Austin, Texas Tech, University of Arizona, University of Houston, and Louisiana State University.

In 55 years of teaching, I have enjoyed working with ages 5 through 85, from beginners to professionals. I believe in motivating students through enthusiasm, encouragement and fun while keeping expectations high.
